Every sport has it's share of athletes with unusual nicknames. Many of the reasons for their nicknames would be a story in themselves. No matter what sport a man is involved in, most nicknames upon them bestower Tend to be masculine in nature. Other nicknames are picked up by some unusual habit or talent that the athlete might posses. It seems it's just a part of sporting history to give a nickname favorite sports heroes. In most cases, it's a way of expressing the kinship others feel for the player. In some cases, you have to wonder how in the world to nickname was thought of. When I read lists of sporting nicknames, I often feel sorry for some of the athletes that have to go through their careers carrying them around with those names. Some are obviously meant to be funny and were surely given by close friends or family that could get away with such a thing. Other silly nicknames are given with good intention but you still have to almost feel sorry for the guy that has to live with it. It's in a spirit of fun that I'm going to give you my personal list of the five worst Boxing Nicknames. 5. Butterbean / Eric Scott Esch: I know about Butterbean from speaking about him with my father. It seems the reason that I was given this nickname is that his body was shaped sort of like a butter bean. It's one of those names that was given by someone that surely meant well but I can not help but giggle over a grown man boxing with that name. I do not have any statistics on his career, but just the fact that I have made it a career to box with that name proves to me I must be a pretty tough guy. 4. Baby / Joe Mesi: When my brothers or sisters called me a baby, it was almost a sure way to get me to cry. Being called a baby by friends or family was definitely an insult to anyone that grew up in my neighborhood. Boxer Joe Mesi is one that does not seem to be negatively affected at all by his unusual nickname. With thirty six wins, zero losses, and twenty nine knockouts, I'd say being called baby has not bothered him much. 3. Darnell "The Ding A Ling Man" Wilson: If you have not already started humming the tune Chuck Berry, My Ding a ling, you might not have as of a warped sense of humor as my friends and myself. When looking at lists of names boxing and thinking about my choices for this article, I ran across this name and found myself humming the song instantly. The few friends I mentioned the name to did exactly the same thing. It's still got me smiling to think that someone actually has a boxing career with this nickname. The name not only has me humming the tune, it also has given me a strange craving to buy a box of ding dongs. It easily ranks number three in my list of the top five worst boxing nicknames.2. Ronald "Winky" Wright: The Closer I Get to the top of my list, the easier it is to choose the worst nicknames. Winky is just so feminine and funny that I actually feel almost sorry for the guy. I say almost Because he has an outstanding boxing record. With fifty one wins, five losses, one draw, and twenty five knockouts, Winky seems to be handling his nickname totally fine. I still would not give a nickname like Winky to anyone but my goofiest friend. 1. Jerry "Wimpy" Halstead: There is not a whole lot I can say about this name without having to hold my belly to keep my laughter from hurting. I can not imagine who would give a boxing athlete a nickname like Wimpy. Just saying the name makes me want to eat a very large burger that I would gladly pay for next Tuesday. It's with a huge smile and an honest sense of humor that I tip my hat to Wimpy and proudly place him at my number one spot for the worst nicknames in boxing history. As easy as it might be to feel sorry for some of these guys, I really do. In all honestly, I admire each and every one of them for being athletes that were able to beat the odds of making it as far as they did and doing it all with a nickname heavy to carry. I see them all as a great bunch of men involved in the great sport of boxing. They've provided many people of the pleasure of watching them at their sport and given many people a giggle over their nicknames at the same time.

Credit cards have become a vital part of our daily life. Over the years the number of credit card users around the world has been exploding. This article discusses some facts about credit cards and how to use it wisely to avoid getting trapped in debt. With Increase in number of companies offering credit cards, the eligibility for Obtaining a credit card is very simple. Almost anyone above age of 18, who is employed for a salary or running their own business are eligible. Nowadays, Even Students of Universities are eligible for Obtaining credit cards after fulfilling some minimum requirement. The process of acquiring a credit card is very easier than the process of opting out of the Scheme. Those who market credit cards give false promises and take you to the moon, but the reality being the other way. Have you ever seen a credit card marketer explain about the risk factors involved in using the credit card?. Certainly he / she will not, as his / her only job is to complete the sale and earn their commission and they are in no way worried about the consumers. Credit cards have their own advantages too. It all depends on how well you use it. Judicious usage of credit cards can make our life very comfortable. One of the main advantages of having a credit card is you do not need to carry cash and you do not need to worry about loosing money when you travel. Nowadays each and every bank issuing credit cards are offering reward points (which can be redeemed in selected Outlets) and some are also offering a percentage of the amont of money Which you spend using the credit card. The fact is "these banks are ready to Forego a part of their profit percentage rather than loosing a customer." They are very sure that, this decrease in profit margin can be made up very easily, as long as the customer is bound with their Organization. The Number of Outlets accepting credit cards has Increased widely around the globe, you can rarely find an outlet cards. Some banks not accepting Credit Offer free insurance coverage to their customers. When It Comes to E-Commerce online shopping almost every site has a well built secured access system for accepting credit cards, so you do not need to worry about your privacy (misuse of creditcard) or theft of data. We the consumer, must always remember there are two ways "good" and "bad" in everything that exists in this world. It all depends on how good are you in decision making and how you plan your way.As Mr.APJAbdul Kalam (Honorable President Of India) rightly said "The best way to solve problems is to anticipate them." Consumer's must always be realistic in their expectations and should not be deceived by false promises offered by others and later repent for the misjudgement, Which they made, being a football of other's opinion. The Saying "Knowledge Is Power" would be very apt in this context as nothing can befall a person who has profound knowledge.

I've listened to Al Gore talk about global warming for about a year now. I've been looking at the research for about a year now. After listening to Al and looking at the research, I honestly do not believe it exists or if it does exist, I think it's suppose to happen regardless of polution.I can disprove this theory biblicaly extremely easy. Biblicaly God said he'd never again destroy the earth with a flood and if you look at factual evidence, there is enough ice on the planet that if it all melted it would flood the entire planet. I know they say there is evidence of it melting but do you really think it will melt enough to turn into something we can not handle. Scientificaly, I have a few facts as well. first of all just because an expert calls it a fact does not mean it is. Think about it. How many things science has given us that were fact and then 10 to 20 years later it was DECIDED that it was not a fact and it was wrong. Experts can easily call anything a fact and get away with it Because 9 times out of 10 they are talking to someone who has no idea about how that field works and because you're getting your information from the expert, you assume that it is 100 % correct. In the case of global warming you have to be cautious in picking a side Because there are just as many experts as saying it is not fact there is saying that it is fact. Another thing about the whole argument is that there is evidence of the most issolated, cold, and icy places on the planet, like Siberia and Alaska being completely habitable and warm just like in the continental U.S. Well, if these places were habitable, that means there was less snow and ice substantialy then there is now. That being said, if most of the ice melts that is not necessarily a bad thing. It may just be the earth's natural change that was always suppose to happen. Also, if you think the earth was created billions of years ago then you also know about all the nuclear winters, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, meteor showers, and wild fires that used to run ramped like clock work before we came along and now you think 200 years of industry is causeing to environmental breakdown. All the people who debate this theory (I say theory Because that's all it is) will not debate it against any other experts. If Al Gore really cared about our energy use then he would not have everything in his house turned on all the time and drive around everywhere in a motorcade of Suburbans. This is the same guy we were ignorant enough to give a peace prize to.So it's not a matter of fact or fiction. It's a matter of belief. There is nothing wrong with protecting the environment. There is something wrong with global warming making look like the next big epidemic. Our problem is not that we are actually afraid of global warming. The problem is that we have to have an explanation for everything. The weather is acting more different then it ever has and we can not just say well that's weird. We have to get experts and say lets figure it out. We need a reason for everything that goes wrong instead of being able to accept that some things happen and do not need to be explained neccesarily Because there are somethings we can not explain and there are some things that happen for long periods of time that are not normal but are things that were going to happen regardless of what we did or did not do. Global Warming is something that was going to happen no matter what. Trying to change a lot of nature shows arrogance and ignorance. So in conclusion. Make sure you have every pro and in fact before you get on tv and run your mouth about something your only 90% sure of.

As women are often the caretakers of our families. Spouses, children, elderly, and sometimes family members depend on us to help them with their daily needs. Employers expect us to fulfill our job requirements. The demands made on us often leaves us with little time to look after our own needs. We become emotional stress and physically exhausted, and our health suffers as a result. We must be proactive in taking care of ourselves and our own emotional and physical health should be a priority. As women, we must educate ourselves about what we do to maintain our optimum well-being. Our attitudes and actions can determine if we fight for life or enjoy a vital, healthy and rewarding existence.Having regular medical provider in which you have confidence is an important first step, but an education on health issues that may affect you can alert you to early warning signs may need to be addressed before your annual checkup is due, or if you have an emotional crisis. Research health issues for women online, or through nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Bring research materials with you when you visit your doctor and be prepared to ask questions. And ask many questions! You may want to know about the prescriptions your doctor gives you: Is there a generic right? What side effects can you expect? Is there an alternative treatment that does not involve medication? You can ask about the course of treatment, length of recovery time can be expected, or other health issues. A physician quality will take time to explain the results of tests, procedures and treatment options thoroughly, and answer any questions you may have. Be proactive in health care involves more than having an annual physical check, and make healthy diet and lifestyle. We must take responsibility for our emotional health. Having a positive mental attitude and manage stress in a healthy manner has potent effects of aging on our bodies. Stress is a part of life that we can not help but be allowed to manifest with physical and emotional symptoms, or we can take control of the situation when people, events and situations require too much of us. Set realistic goals and determine if there is anything we can do to change the situation can prevent the stress take over our lives. Do not worry about little things, just let it go! Prioritize responsibilities rather than being overwhelmed with too many things to do, and not be afraid to say no when you already have a full schedule.Take few minutes each day to stress! Exercise is known to relieve stress. A simple stroll in the park will do, it is not necessary to run a marathon! Take a long hot soak in the tub with your favorite bath oil after the kids are in bed. Whatever it is that relaxes you, set aside some time each day where you can enjoy your favorite stress reliever pastime. Our soul, our inner essence, is unique for each of us and requires nurturing to stay healthy. It is our self-awareness, and defines the values we think, feel and live. Spiritual health is tapping a source of energy that brings love, hope, optimism and empowerment. Whatever the health of our religious beliefs, spirituality and physics are linked. A healthy spirit can reduce depression and self-destructive behavior (snuff, drugs and alcohol dependence and suicide for example), stimulating the immune system and create a more satisfying life.By be proactive about our physical, mental and spiritual health, we can create a healthier life and fulfillment for ourselves and can also inspire our family, especially our daughters, to adopt this attitude for themselves.

Everyone nowadays is talking about saving money. That's great, as we become more fiscal, we can hopefully learn to avoid debt and be financially secure. That's especially true with college students. While in college a student has little to no spending money and that's okay. The necessities like paying monthly bills (rent, utilities, food) are important, so having money for fun is going to be hard. For a college student to save money doesn't have to be as hard as everyone says. Sure he or she wants to buy alcohol and party and go out to eat on occasion. Not a bad thing - we all need to keep our sanity somehow. Saving money doesn't mean we have to stop buying things. If you want to stop buying things, great! You'll be more fiscally responsible than most people. For the general populace, saving money can be achieved by reducing energy consumption. Now, some people may scoff at that notion, saying, "How can reducing energy save me money? It's not like electricity costs that much." Unfortunately, energy can cost quite a bit, but by energy, I just don't mean just electricity. There is water and gas to be aware of as well. Add those three up and you can save 15-20 dollars a month. That's a case of beer for a weekend. How do you go about this without ruining the comfort of college life? Well, for starters, most college students have their own computers whether they are a laptop or a desktop. These can suck down quite a lot of energy. When checking out for the night, turn off your computer. This will help save energy. Also, make sure to unplug the power cord from the wall as this uses a bit of energy as well.Saving energy with electricity isn't too hard and there are a lot of things you can do as a college student. At night, unplug your TV, microwave, stereo, computer, lamps and anything else you do not need on. You may want to keep your fridge turned on so food doesn't spoil. In my case, I unplug my fridge as I only have soda and beer in it. Unplugging the fridge and plugging it in actually uses more energy as the compressor in the fridge has to work twice as hard to make the fridge cool again. This is why I keep my fridge unplugged for a few days before plugging it in. If done this way, you can save money on electricity but it's probably more practical to leave the refrigerator on.Also, if you have your own washer and dryer, you can unplug those when you are not using them and if you want to save more money, air dry your clothes by putting them on a drying rack or clothesline. The dryer and washer suck a lot of energy hence the 240 volts needed to power them. Unplugging electronics also is a safety feature in itself as it can help abate the possibility of a fire by taking out the chance of sparking. Most people take a shower as opposed to a bath, and generally, that's a great way to save money. Unless you take a half an hour shower then the bath is going to be cheaper. For the average guy, a five to seven minute shower should be enough to warm up, clean the hair and scrub the body well. It's okay to indulge once in awhile, but the mentality going into the shower shouldn't be one of indulgence, but of something that needs to be done to be clean. You can save a bunch of money by rationing water with shorter showers. You can save money by getting used to tap water. Tap water is generally better for you than bottled water. Tap water may be a bit dirtier than bottled, which helps your immune system stay in shape as well as your teeth from the fluoride in tap water. The gas part is hard to really change, but most gas companies allow two ways of paying for your gas. First is having a fixed amount each month based on average usage. The other is by paying for the amount of gas used much like water. Generally, it's easier to pay a fixed amount as it's reasonable. If your heating and air-conditioning is powered by gas, and you rarely use it, it may be better to switch the way you pay for gas. While this isn't as big of a money saver, it can help out in the long run. Why not save a few bucks? It's that extra money for a cab, or a few bucks for a beer at a bar. While there are numerous ways to make money while in college, a lot of money can be "made" just by saving energy. This is normally overlooked, and when utilized can make your life easier. You can take this knowledge and extrapolate to your later years when living on your own. It's good a habit to have and will make you happy.
